8C. Portfolio
You have made it to the end of your coursework and are ready to start assembling your portfolio! To earn Leading Edge Certification, you need to successfully complete all coursework and assignments in accordance with the course calendar, as well as pass the LEC Portfolio. To begin the official review process, you will need to submit your portfolio link to your instructor. Please check with your instructor regarding the specific method for submission in your course. Also, please ensure the link is public, as three individuals will need to review your portfolio before you are awarded Leading Edge Certification.
After successful completion of the course and submission of your completed portfolio, your LEC Portfolio will be assessed by three educators. These individuals will review your portfolio based on the following criteria:

- Portfolio assignments will be assessed using the appropriate 3 point rubric.
- To pass, a score of 3 needs to be accomplished for each portfolio assignment.
- A reflection for each module needs be included in the portfolio submission that reflects on the content and activities from the module.
- After all modules have been assessed, an overall rubric will be used to assess the portfolio as a whole. Again, a score of 3 is required in each rubric category.
- Unsatisfactory portfolios will be given the opportunity to improve and will be reassessed.
Final Touches
- Finish your portfolio, make portfolio public, and submit the link to your LEC instructor.
- Exchange contact information (email, blogs, social media), with others in your learning community to keep in touch.
- Capture resources and other information from the course site that you might want to access after the course site is closed. You can save or print each module to PDF by using the "Print All" link at the top right, and then saving as PDF.
